Incident at Remote Cabin
Incident: Dangerous Encounter at remote Cabin
During the search for Jaryd Atadero, a woman who offered her help to the family was driving some back roads in the broader area where Jaryd went missing. While searching these roads, she came upon a cabin where several individuals were painting a van a different color and acting suspiciously. She sat in her car for a length of time until one of the individuals became aware of her presence. This individual jumped into a pickup truck, sped down the driveway toward and began screaming threats at her to leave. She complied urgently, and the man in the truck followed her closely as she sped away.
She was badly shaken after this incident, and relayed her experience to a friend, who promptly reported it to the police. As is the status quo for the investigation, the potential lead was ignored.
If you are the individual who encountered the people at the cabin, we wish to speak with you as soon as possible in our effort to get a clearer picture of events in the canyon. Please use our contact form here.
Sincerely,
